KLM Recruitment day a flying success

01/04/08

Staff from EAGIT attended the open day at KLM Norwich on the 15th March with the intention of recruiting Aircraft Engineering apprentices.  The day was split into two with a morning tour and an sfternoon one and was a resounding success.  Both of the events were full with interested parents and potential apprentices who were all treated to a rare tour of the maintenance areas and aircraft hangers.  There was even an opportunity to actually go onto one of the aircraft and view work in progress.

EAGIT, in partnership with KLM provide the initial engineering training for the apprentices and then follow up with help in the area of ongoing assessments.

The vacancy is now closed but KLM will hopefully be putting on another event around the same time next year.
