Opportunity to up-skill and re-skill your staff

As you may have seen in the press recently, or heard on the radio, the Government are currently encouraging the take up of training for employed staff by providing funding.  As things are uncertain, and whilst the down-turn may have caused a slow down in orders, it may be an opportunity to review the existing skills amongst your current employees and to prepare for the future up-turn.

Benefits to your organization may include:

·         Lower turnover of staff and so less advertising and recruitment (less cost)

·         Empowering your staff and so reduced supervision by others (less time)

·         Aligning employees with the company’s goals (more engaged staff)

·         Having new skills for auditing or contract tendering purposes (more work in the door)

·         Lifting confidence levels of your staff (increased staff morale)

·         Enabling you to give something back to your staff when things are lean  (higher productivity)

·         NVQ’s are an excellent way of transferring knowledge to real work practices and situations (consistent high quality)

All of these have a knock-on effect on the bottom-line and so save on long-term costs. EAGIT Ltd. has over 40 years of experience in providing work-based learning solutions for the manufacturing and engineering sectors.  We can deliver training to employees of all ages as National Vocational Qualifications or Apprenticeships.  We can also offer advice as to your training requirements and work in partnership with a number of other organizations which enable us to find options suited to your staff’s needs.

Qualifications available include:

Welding (MIG, MAG, TIG, TAG, MMA)/Fabrication Levels 2 and 3, Electrical maintenance 2 & 3, CNC machining, Manual machining 2 & 3,Performing Manufacturing Operations at level 2, Key Skills 1 & 2 etc.
